Chelsea FC, according to metro.co.uk are ready to step up their interest in signing Nigerian born international striker Emmanuel Emenike, with the striker set to move to England. Emenike, who was subject of a bid from the Blues in the summer, is determined to quit Fenerbahce after a fall out with their fans.
And the Daily Express says Chelsea are ready to move in for the Nigerian at the end of the season. He is ready to move to English football to continue his career and Arsenal and Liverpool have previously been linked.
The Blues would have room for another striker with Didier Drogba and Loic Remy looking likely to leave and Emenike would cost about £16million, metro reports.
