How Governor Rochas Okorocha Massively Enriched Himself, Paid Off His N30billion Debt From Imo State Treasury - Jennifer Ahana (Fb)

Rochas Okorocha used #40 Billion Naira Imo Funds to furnish government House earlier furnished to taste by his predecessor while our youths walk the streets in search of jobs. IS THIS GOOD GOVERNANCE?

A whooping #2 Billion Naira Imo allocation was expanded on the wedding ceremony of Governor Okorocha's daughter. Squandermania! SHOULD WE ALLOW SUCH A MAN TO CONTINUE IN OFFICE?

Available records show that #18 Billion Naira & #25 Billion Naira were disbursed to Okorocha's cronies for the construction of Princess Hotel, Okigwe & Akachi Monumental projects respectively, but up until now, no such projects exist anywhere but for the Princess Hotel which collasped in the process of construction & has been abandoned since then. THIS IS SHEER PROFLIGACY - UNEXPECTED OF AN ADMINISTRATOR.

Records show that all major road contracts in IMO State are awarded to Roche Nigeria LTD where Okorocha's daughter (Commissioner Nwosu's wife) is a principal signatory & director. Such contracts are awarded to ROCHE at the rate of #100 Million Naira per Kilometer. While Okorocha & his ROCHE go home with #65 Million Naira per kilometer of road, Imo people are short-changed with substandard (China) roads which fail almost immediately on completeion. FRAUD§

Remenber the #1.4 Billion Naira JPROS road contract scam that consumed Okorocha's former Deputy, Jude Agbaso? The contract sum has been traced by EFCC to Okorochas foster account in Dubai. Meanwhile the 3km road remains uncompleted. HUGE FRAUD!

As at the day of his swearing - in, Rochas Okorocha was indebted to Diamond & Zenith banks to the tune of #30 Billion Naira but within six months of assuming office, the Governor used the #13. Billion Naira bond money & the #26.8 Billion Naira left in the State coffers by his predecessor to make good his personal indebtedness. SHALL WE CONTINUE THIS WAY?

Available documents show that over #50 Billion Naira of Local Government funds has been transferred by "His Excellency" Rochas Okorocha to his companies in Kosovo, Thailand & the Gambia while Local Government workers & his so called CGC workers are under-utilized for obvious reasons.

As at this moment, the #3.5 Billion Naira which our governor admitted to realizing from the sale/lease of Adapalm is yet to beaccounted for. Also unaccounted for are: IROMA equipment valued at over #12 Billion Naira which disappeared into thin air immediately Rochas Okorocha assumed office. DO WE HAVE A SWINDLER AS A GOVERNOR?

Despite collecting over #30 Billion Naira 13% derivation funds fron the Federal Government, the Okorocha administration cannot point at any project sited, in Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta areas since he assumed office. Is this hatred for the oil producing areas or a manifestation of the governor's known greed for money.?

Imo Concorde Hotel, the 5-Star Pearl of the East has remained closed since Okorocha assumed office despite his claim to have leased the hotel at the sum of #2.5 Million. All State Government guests are diverted to his personal Lamonde hotel. WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Our common patrimony is being sqaundered by one family while we all stand & stare like bewitched persons. SHOULD OKOROCHA BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUETO BE LORD & MASTER OVER US WHILE WE CRINGE UNDER HIS FEET? NO.
