Feel like you’re paying through the nose for a pint of beer these days? Then count yourself lucky you don’t live in Paris, Singapore, New York City or Wellington – all of which are more expensive places to buy a pint compared with the UK.

The findings are part of an annual SURVEY by the Deutsche Bank which compares purchasing power around the world. It may surprise you to know that Australia is officially the world’s most expensive country. And the US is the cheapest developed country.
