A court in Egypt today sentenced former President Mohammed Morsi to death in connection with a mass jail break in 2011. Mr Morsi was Sitting in a caged dumbfounded as the judge read his verdict. About 105 more members of the Muslim Brotherhood were also sentenced to death by the same court. They were all charged with offences ranging from plotting jailbreaks to attacks on police during the uprising that overthrew longtime President Hosni Mubarak five years ago.
