Nigeria Police As Usual Denies Alleged ‘Human Flesh Restaurant Story' In Anambra State

Nigerian police refutes BBC news report that a hotel in the Nigerian State of Anambra has been shutdown for selling human meat. We brought you this news yesterday; READ HERE.

A statement as released by the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Uche Eze, read; "There was nothing like that. I advise you to ignore that report. It’s not true and it did not happen. We don’t have such record. It’s embarrassing. I think we definitely deserve an apology because this story has already been sold out to a huge international audience who made so many unnecessary comments about Nigeria and Nigerians."

But the truth of the matter is that, the Nigerian police force have always refuted true incidents as have failed to exhibit professionalism when needed. This now makes it very difficult for anyone to believe what ever that comes out from the force. In this instance we and the general public expect a full investigation as against outright denial. No story is embarrassing to any nation. because it all happens in every other country of the world. The most important thing is for the culprits to be brought to book and for justice to seen to have been done.

I wonder how on earth this story HERE could be false or incorrect.
