Nigerian Registered Nurse Practitioner Charged With Murder In The Scandalous Death Of A 23-month-old Baby In New York

  • Oluyemisi Adebayo, 54, charged with murder in scalding death of 23-month-old Naomi Mondesire in Queens, New York. The licensed nurse practitioner was arrested at JFK Airport Wednesday trying to flee the country to her native Nigeria. Adebayo claimed she had tested water with her hand before submerging girl, but police say her story was inconsistent with toddler's injuries. Naomi was born 25 weeks premature and required a tracheotomy and feeding tube
