A 49-year old plank seller, Adeboye Adesola Waheed has been accused of forcefully having canal knowledge of his 14-year old daughter (names withheld). The suspect who is currently being investigated at the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos was said to have slept with the girl twice before she decided to raise the alarm and packed out of her father’s house. She then took refuge at a church in Ikorodu area of the state from where the matter was reported to the police.
The girl alleged that her father slept with her in November 2014 and 5th March, 2015 at Ikorodu. Waheed who was paraded by the police in Lagos on Wednesday. According to the Deputy Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 command, Olorunfemi Shem, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) the suspect initially denied the allegation. Even as the little girl tearful held on to his clothe urging her father to tell the truth at the police station, he remained unperturbed but later attributed his alleged deed to the hand work of the devil.
