Harrowing images have been released which show a girl being brutally drowned by her stepfather in a swimming pool in Mexico. CCTV captured the horrific incident, during which the man repeatedly threw her into a hotel swimming pool in a heartless display of brutality.
The hotel is located in the city of Morelia, in the south-west Mexican state of Michoacan. The girl, just three years old, was repeatedly thrown into the pool while fully-clothed. Weirdly, her step father threw her a safety ring at one point. However, she was too weak to save herself.
The man reportedly then put the toddler in the family car. However, when the girl’s mother realised she was missing she alerted the authorities. It’s unknown what the man’s motivations were but having killed his step daughter in one of the most horrific ways possible, it seems that mental illness is a probable cause.
This is an absolutely disgusting display of brutality. However, the man has since been caught, arrested and charged with murder. Viralthread
