Rihanna Reaches Out To Chris Brown After Singer Wins Joint Custody Of Royalty

Rihanna reached out to former boyfriend Chris Brown, after he was granted joint custody of his daughter, Royalty, with Nia Guzman. The 27-year-old FourFiveSeconds hitmaker sent a text message to the 26-year-old R&B singer, congratulating him on the good news.

“Rihanna is jumping for joy that Chris got what he wanted in court today. That boy loves that Royalty more than anyone in the world and she’s so happy for him,” a source told Hollywood Life. “The minute she heard the news, she texted him and said ‘congratulations Daddy!’ He responding saying ‘thank you mama,’ and sent the cutest picture of him smiling with Royalty in his arms. She responded back with two emoji red hearts.”

On 11 September, a Houston judge ruled in the Loyal singer’s favour during a court hearing, ordering that both parents are to share equal physical custody of their child. Moreover, Brown was ordered to continue paying Guzman the monthly amount of $2,500 in child support, instead of $15,000 that she had sought. Besides, the former model has been ordered not to talk negatively about Brown or anything about the case on social media.

Earlier this year, the Say Goodbye singer discovered that he was a father to a little girl. Following that, Karrueche Tran announced her split with Brown by declaring she did not want “baby drama”. In August, Brown had lashed out at Guzman for allegedly using Royalty, as a “meal ticket”.

“Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets,” he wrote on his Twitter. He added in a separate tweet: “Using a child as leverage is never OK. The highest praise to the men who actually want their kids.”

In June, Brown opened up to fatherhood and revealed that he would love to have more children. “I think in the future, possibly, so she isn’t an only child. I mean, I have brothers and sisters, so I had a fun time picking on them and hitting on them,” he told Real 92.3’s Big Boy. “They were beating me up, too, so it would be nice for a brother or sister in the future!”

“I think right now I am learning how to be a dad, so going through that process it is good for me to grow with her and give her that one-on-one time,” Brown added. Culled From Yahoo!
