Multiple explosions on Thursday evening rocked Maiduguri, the Borno State capital causing tension among residents, DAILY POST has learnt. Some residents are calling relations to find out the direction of the explosion. The first explosion was heard around 6:20pm, followed by several other explosions leading to serious confusion.
It could be recalled that, Boko Haram hit Ajilari Cross on Tuesday killing over 20 persons and injuring many. DAILY POST gathered that the first explosion occurred at Molai mosque killing all worshipers, whereas the second hit rescuers who went to save the victims.
Residents of Molai said many corpses and victims were being rushed to Molai General Hospital. According to residents the situation is very bad with human parts littered every where Residents fear that the end to insurgency in Borno may not be too soon, as government according to them, is not doing enough to assure the people of its determination to end the carnage by the Islamic sect in the northeast.
