Justice Ademola Adeniyi of the Federal High Court sitting today ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to allow a former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, to travel out of the country for medical treatment.
In his ruling, the Judge queried, “What is wrong in the defendant travelling and coming back to face trial? He consequently ordered that his travel documents be released by the DSS forthwith, insisting “My own orders will not be flouted.”
Justice Ademola also told M.S. Labaran, counsel to the DSS, to tell his client to immediately comply with the November 3 order of the court, saying “Court order must be obeyed.
