Nigerian Senate Wants To Jail Sahara Reporter's Proprietor, Introduces Bill To Make Someone An Scapegoat On Social Media 'Falsehood'

This is what followed after a series of social media banter on some members of the senate. A bill was introduced and has passed it's second reading in the Nigerian senate to regulate social media, by way of two years prison sentence with an option of N4 million fine for any body deemed to peddled 'falsehood' against them.

Until Buhari start to fulfill his promise of throwing some of these so called political leaders into jail, this attitude of being tin-god to ordinary Nigerians will not stop. And I think it is hard-time Nigerians start to recall any of their reps that indulge in this kind of anti democratic behaviors.
