The No Trousers Tube Ride or No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event started in NYC in 2002 by Improv Everywhere – ‘a prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places’.
It takes place sometime in January and sees an organised group of trouserless people riding the underground nonchalantly, amusing onlookers as they do so, metro.co.uk reports.
Are you a brave mischief-makers? If yes, then you can sign up to take part on Facebook where arrangements are being made to meet at a central London location at 3pm, clothed.
They must wear sensible underwear underneath (no thongs, mankinis or banana hammocks). A group leader will instruct on when trousers are to be removed. Participants will be divided up into groups so that passengers get multiple surprises, and they are to sit in the car as they normally would
People can wear fun undies if they like, or two pairs if it makes them feel more comfortable. ‘Our aim is to make people laugh, not piss them off,’ states the Facebook page. Metro.co.uk
