EPL TRANSFER WINDOW; Emmanuel Adebayor Signs A 6-Month Deal With Option Of Extension With London Club Crystal Palace

London Premier League middle table topper Crystal Palace Football Club yesterday announced the signing of former Spurs striker and Togolese international Emmanuel Adebayor on a 6-month free transfer deal. The former Real Madrid, Man City, Arsenal and Tottenham striker had been a free agent ever since his contract with Tottenham was cancelled on mutual grounds last year, in which Spurs is still paying his wages up to date.

The agreement with Crystal Palace is on an initial six month deal with the option of an extra year if he performs. The club will pay him £70,000 per week while Tottenham will be paying him £30,000 till his contract with Tottenham ends this June 2016

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish took to his Instagram page to welcome his new addition and posted a picture of the duo and Pardew. He said: 'Real pleasure to welcome @e_adebayor to #cpfc.'
