''Convene An Economic Summit Now'' Prof Wole Soyinka Tells Buhari

As the economic woe continue to strike Nigeria since the coming of Buhari's government, nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has added his voice to the clamour for Buhari to address the issue now before it is too late.
Prof. Soyinka during a courtesy call to the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed in Abuja yesterday, called on President Buhari to immediately convene an economic summit where Nigerians can brainstorm on how to get the country out of this dismal situation.

In his words,  "I agree with those who say the economy is bad. It is obvious and it is so bad. I think the Presidency should call an emergency economic conference where experts will be enlightened. We really need an emergency economic conference, bringing experts together to march the nation forward. I think the economy is not encouraging. Quite frankly, I think most economists will agree with this.”
