She writes: “I know you have grown up now, and I’m proud of you. When Ashley comes over tonight, if things get serious, make sure you’re SAFE!” In case he wasn’t sure what she was getting at, Mum helpfully elaborates, with a big arrow pointing at the condom, alongside the instruction: “Use this!”
And for a sign off? “P.S. Your dinner is in the fridge honey. Love Mom.”
