Breaking News! Fulani Herdsmen Kill Hundreds, Burnt Down Catholic Church In A Planned Invasion Of Enugu Community!

Hundreds of Igbos of Eastern Nigeria were feared dead as over 400 Fulani herdsmen invaded Ukpabi,Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State in the early hours of Monday, April 25, 2016. 
According to the report, about eleven houses and a church, Christ Holy Catholic Church, Odozi-Obodo, at Onu-Eke, Nimbo, in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the state were razed during the attack.

Residents of the area were said to have fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, while Nkpologu residents fled to Nsukka to escape the attacks of the herdsmen. The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ebere Amaraizu has confirmed the incident.

The police spokesperson stated that officials have been deployed to the scene to calm the situation and restore sanity. 
However, the Nigerian government is yet to release any statement to this effect.

 This is coming just a few weeks after DSS published false reports about mass grave where Fulani herdsmen were buried in Abia State and the State Governor, Dr Ikpezu came out to condemn it.
