According to Premium Times , it was all out drama at the venue as thugs allegedly hired by the state government to organise the openly disagreed over the sharing of the largesse after the event.  

"The crisis began when the thugs, who were over 100, and were waiting to collect their payments, found that the money was handed over by the sponsors to somebody who was not their leader. PREMIUM TIMES could not ascertain how much the thugs were given by their sponsor to share and how much each of them was to receive.''
