Donald Trump's Worker Meredith McIver, Admits Plagiarizing Michelle Obama's 2008 Demo-Convention Speech, Offered To Quit, But The Trump Family Refused To Accept Her Resignation.

An employee at Donald Trump's real estate company has come forward to say she inadvertently spliced portions of Michelle Obama's 2008 Democratic National Convention speech into the address Melania Trump delivered Monday night, dailymail.co.uk reports.

Mrs. Trump's speech drew instant criticism when a half-dozen lines were found to be in common with Mrs. Obama's from eight years ago.

Meredith McIver, an in-house staff writer at the Trump Organization and former ballet dancer, released a statement Wednesday saying she wrote down portions of the Obama speech – with Mrs. Trump reading them to her over the phone – and included them later in the draft she presented to Melania. 

'I did not check Mrs. Obama's speeches. This was my mistake, and I feel terrible for the chaos I have caused Melania and the Trumps, as well as to Mrs. Obama,' she wrote. 'No harm was meant.' Read More Here @ Daily Mail
