Here Is The Face Of The Lone Bloke Who Killed 3 Baton Rouge Officers, Left 3 Others Injured And Photos Of Some Of His Victims!

The man who shot three police officers dead and injured three others in Baton Rouge has been named as Gavin Eugene Long from Kansas City. He shot 6 people on his 29th birthday.

According to CBS News reports, 29 year old  Long was a former Marine who was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of sergeant, before becoming a life coach and self-styled 'Alpha-preneur' under the name of Cosmo Setepenra,

Someone called the police at about 8:29 am Sunday morning to report that there was a man wearing a mask, and an all black outfit, carrying a long gun. As soon as police responded to the complaint, Long opened fire on them and killed 3 police officers with 1 officer in critical condition and 2 others with non-life threatening injuries.

He was killed in the gun battle between himself and police officers. Long is said to be a lone actor.

Meanwhile below are the faces of 2 Baton Rouge police officers among those killed by the gunman above.

According to The Advocate, two of the dead police officers have also been identified as Montrell Jackson, 32, (The black man pictured on the left) a new father and ten-year veteran of the force, and Matthew Gerald, 41, a former Marine who had joined the Baton Rouge police force a year ago. 

Jackson, 32, who welcomed a son less than a year ago, celebrated his ten-year anniversary with the Baton Rouge Police Department just last month and was once injured helping to save a toddler from a burning building, 

Meanwhile Gerald was a married father-of-two who had been working on his own for just 12 days before he was gunned down on Sunday morning.
