Internally Displaced People Took To The Streets Of Maiduguri To Protest Over Hunger, Lack Of Water & Medical Care!

This is what the situation is in Maiduguri Borno State, North East Nigeria, as Internally Displaced Persons in camps took to the streets protesting over lack of food, portable water and medical care. The claim is that the IDPs are not being well fed and are dying of hunger on daily bases, while food items meant for them are being sold in the open markets across the country. Sources said they barricaded most of the roads leading into Maiduguri, causing serious traffic gridlock.
