As The Selective Anti-Corruption Crusade Continues, Former Presidential Spokesman, Reuben Abati Nabbed By EFCC!

Former Chief press secretary to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Reuben Abati was on Monday arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Sources at the anti-graft agency told newsmen that his arrest was in connection with the ongoing investigations into corrupt practices in connection with Dasukigate. According to the report, he is currently being detained at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

You would recall Mr. Dasuki is currently being tried by the EFCC for his management of arms funds in his custody while he served as the National Security Adviser.

 Mr. Abati’s arrest makes it at least three former aides of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan who are currently in EFCC custody.
