Senator Ben Murray-Bruce took to his twitter handle today's afternoon to alert Nigerians of this planned expenditure by the Buhari led Federal government, as submitted to the national assembly in the 2017 budget.
This is in the face of a nation said to be in recession, with the poor masses barely able to eat two meals a day.

Tell me at N18,0000 minimum wage, the least paid civil servant will take home about N216,000 per year, while a graduate at N50,000 per month takes home N600,000 gross {tax inclusive} at the end of the year. But our president who claimed he inherited empty treasury and due to his cluelessness , plunged Nigeria into recession is planning to spend a whooping N40 million on a couple of animals within the presidential palace.
What a shame!
