POTUS & FLOTUS Are Both A No Go For The Kennedy Centre Honours, Due To Their Divisive Antics!

White House, Saturday, issued a statement that President, Trump, and his wife Melania, will not make it to this year's Kennedy Center Honors after many of the honorees threatened to boycott the event if POTUS & FLOTUS were to attend.

The planned boycott is an unprecedented move by honorees against a sitting president who seems to places much focus and sides division in American society.

A Statement released by the White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated that the first couple would not “participate in this year’s activities” in order to “allow the honorees to celebrate without any political distraction.”

Here is the statement in full; ''Each year, the Kennedy Center honors the careers and achievements of artists who have helped shape cultural life in the United States with a weekend that includes celebrations and events.

The award recipients are recognized for their lifetime contributions to the arts and the positive change they have made all over the world.

First Lady Melania Trump, along with her husband President Donald J. Trump, extends their sincerest congratulations and well wishes to all of this year’s award recipients for their many accomplishments.'
