The Peoples Democratic Party Issues A Statement On The Killing During The Forceful Demolition Of Ekeukwu Owerri Market!

Following the forceful demolition of the popular Ekeukwu Owerri main market situated along Douglas road Owerri the Imo State Capital, during which a couple people were said to have been shot dead by the armed military and policemen the governor deployed at the market. The people's democratic party today issued a statement bemoaning the ugly incident and the undemocratic character the governor showed even in the face of a court order against the demolition.
