The Real Truth Behind The Appointment Of Aishah Ahmad As CBN Deputy Gov

One Ayo Turton wrote this on the retirement and appointment of a Deputy Governor of CBN.
''The retirement and appointment of a Deputy Governor of CBN is a routine matter, this one is generating too many controversies for whatever reason.

They finally got my attention! So I looked her up. She is a professional, beautiful and married to a Brigadier General of the Nigerian Army. Good enough.

Then I tried to check her working profile, she was born in 1977, (some reports said 1976) meaning she is 40 years old. Reports said she has served in the banking industry for 20 years out of that 40. She then must have graduated by age 19, one year of Youth Service and immediately joined the bank or served in a bank.

Good enough. Then I tried to check the career path, that's where I encountered the challenges. All they have to say is that she has worked in banking and related services for 20 years. They listed so many companies that make it look like she never spent more than two years in one organization and I am yet to see her detailed resume.

It reminds me of how Lamido Sanusi showed back up in banking industry in 1997, by 2008 he was already "interning" as MD of First Bank preparatory to taking over as CBN Governor.''

Then while looking out for more info on this newly appointed Deputy CBN Governor, I found this;
Have a good read!
The recent hurriedly appointment of Aishah Ahmad as Deputy Governor of CBN with thin file and not serving substantively as an executive was done with one goal in my….TO PREVENT THE ASCENSION OF THE NEXT IN LINE, DR. JOSEPH OKWU NNANNA, dubbed the Alan Greenspan of Africa. This Buhari bigot of a president will go any length to defy due process and autonomy of the CBN. Mr. Emefiele term is due to end soon, and Dr. Nnanna as deputy governor in charge of the apex department of CBN, highly technical department ” Monetary and financial policies”, who was appointed by President Jonathan and unanimously confirmed by the Senate without any objection; first time it happened in Nigerian history, is next in line to succeed Mr. Emefiele

CBN Must reject her as she didn’t meet the executive requirement as she was hurriedly promoted to executive hours to her nomination as deputy governor. Same Buhari bypassed Southern deputy comptrollers general of customs next in line to comptroller general of Customs then to bring in an outsider BECAUSE HE SAW THAT THERE WAS NO WAY GOING BY SENIORITY THAT A NORTHERNER WILL BE THE NEXT COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF CUSTOMS. So he went and brought in an outsider, a former military officer. As usual Nigerians, stupidly pretend they didn’t know what happened.

Same Buhari bypassed deputy inspector general of police next in line who was to be a southerner, he went and picked from the assistant inspector general of police, who is now the current Inspector General of Police, something the police today is not happy with, again…Nigerians foolishly turned a blind eye. How long will this evil continue? Now he wants to bring this tribalistic nonsense to our financial system? Central Banks around the world are run by veteran economists and bankers, not by a newbie or a small girl. Enough of this mediocrity before he plunges us into depression as we are already in a recession!
