Yet Again, Senate Invites IGP, SSS, Army Chief Again Over 87 Nigerians Abducted In Kaduna

Senate President Bukola Saraki summons IGP Idri Ibrahim, Army and SSS following reports of 87 persons kidnapped along Kaduna highway
Senate President Bukola Saraki, via his twitter, says the Senate has summoned the Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris, the Army and the State Security Service SSS to the chambers over the recent abduction of 87 persons along the Birnin Gwari-Kaduna highway.

Birwin Gwari Which is in the southern part of Kaduna state has witnessed a number of violent clashes between suspected herdsmen and residents of the area.

Unconfirmed reports earlier in the week claimed that 87 persons who were traveling on that highway were abducted by unknown gunmen.

Reacting to the report, the Senate President said the security chiefs have all been invited to explain to the lawmakers why this unfortunate incident happened.
