A Girl Of Two Escaped From A Nursery Unnoticed And Walked For More Than 30 Minutes Before Arriving Home.

Louise Hilton left the Windmill Hill Nursery in Runcorn, Cheshire, without a single passer-by stopping to ask what she was doing.
She is thought to have walked out through a door left open by a workman.
Her mother Samantha, 30, said workers at the nursery were a ‘total shambles’.
Her father John, also 30, has informed the police and vowed never to take her back there.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: ‘Cheshire Constabulary have been made aware of an incident when a two-year-old child had left a Runcorn nursery and walked home alone, arriving at around 1.50pm.
‘At this stage of the investigation it is believed the child escaped after workmen left a door open.
‘The child was unharmed and the matter has been referred to the local authority.’
Windmill Hill Nursery declined to make a statement about the incident.
