IS OBAMA NOW COMING TO NIGERIA? US Secretary Of Commerce Leads A 10 Man Company Executives On A Trade Visit To Nigeria & Ghana!

China recently during the just concluded African Economic summit which turned out to be the highest of it's kind signed trade deals amounting to well over $20billion with Nigeria on different aspects of the economy including energy. A Couple weeks before the summit, Nigeria's economy was rebased using recent data which turned out to positioning Nigeria as the biggest economy in Africa, a fact no reasonable person or potential business partner can afford to over look.
This ground breaking deal might have prompted United States to do something before it is too late. And to that effect, the United States Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker, is said to be leading 20 American company excutives on an energy business development trade mission to West Africa, specifically to Ghana and Nigeria. Secretary Pritzker has already arrived in Lagos on Tuesday for a three-day visit.
In a press statement made available to www.thisdaylive.com by the Public Affairs section of the United States Consulate General in Lagos, the trade mission is expected to promote US exports and expand its companies’ presence in Africa by helping American firms launch or increase their business in the energy sector.
According to the statement, the firms joining the mission have the expertise that will help African countries develop and manage energy resources and systems, as well as build out power generation, transmission, and distribution.
