Ladies, faking it could be a thing of the past, thanks to a new nasal gel which claims to boost women’s chances of orgasm. Who knew nose gel could be sexy? Yes, you could soon be able to sniff your way to the summit thanks to new ‘use as required’ nose gel, Tefina. The gel uses the sex hormone testosterone, known to affect libido, to assist you on your way to the big ‘O’.
After ‘successful’ studies by manufacturer, Trimel Pharmaceuticals Corporation, with ‘no side effects’ reported, the hope is that the product will soon be released onto the market. The gel was designed to be used in the treatment of Female Orgasmic Disorder (FOD). Women who suffer from FOD struggle to reach orgasm, or have a substantially decreased intensity of orgasm. The disorder affects one in five women.
Trials saw 253 women with the condition in America, Canada and Australia given one of three different doses of the drug – or a placebo – for 84 days. Researchers found that those women given the drug had an average of 2.3 orgasms during the trial period while the placebo group only had 1.7. Plus, there were no reported side effects. Developers now believe the product could fill a real gap in the market for treatments of FOD. A www.metro.co.uk extract.
