How Did You Meet Your Spouse? WOW! Newlywed Couple Discover Photo Of Themselves Together As Children 11 Years Before They Even Met

A pair of newlyweds could not believe their eyes after finding a photo of themselves together as children, years before they even met. Aimee Maiden, 25 and Nick Wheeler, 26, found the incredible photo when going through a family photo album at Nick’s grandparents’ house a few weeks before their wedding.

The photo shows a six-year-old Nick and his family making a sandcastle on Mousehole beach, Cornwall, while a five-year-old Aimee can be seen with her family just behind him. Although the two spent the day next to each other on the beach, they did not meet until 11 years after the photo was taken as Nick’s family were on holiday from Kent.

Nick moved to Cornwall one year later and the happy couple met while both attending the same sixth form college. And Aimee said the ‘unbelievable’ coincidence just confirmed to her that she’d found her ‘soul mate’. She said: ‘What makes it even more significant was that, although I was brought up in Mousehole, Nick and his family didn’t even live in Cornwall at the time.’

Teacher Aimee and soldier Nick recently got hitched a minute’s walk away from the spot the photo was taken, 20 years after it was snapped.
