Marlboro Cowboy Dies AT 85

The American Cowboy, Darrell Winfield who played one of the original Marlboro men has died aged 85 at his home in Wyoming USA.

The real-life rancher was working on a cattle farm in 1968 when he was first discovered by the Leo Burnett advertising agency and transformed into a world-recognized model. The father of six pictured continued to work as a rancher even after  finding fame in the cigarettes ads.

No known cause of death was recorded even though all other several Marlboro stars have died of Lung cancer. Photo credit to dailymail.co.uk.
