Everyone in full time work at least earns enough money cover their basic needs, right, so to say may be wrong.  Nearly five million workers in the UK earn less than the living wage of £9.15 an hour in

London and £7.85 an hour elsewhere according to research by the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
Some areas in the UK such as Northfield in Birmingham has over 50 per cent of its working population receiving less than the living wage compared to the far better off workers of South East England such as Poplar and Limehouse in East London where only 7.5 per cent are underpaid, according to i100.
