The Netherlands is said to put a ban on the wearing of Islamic burkas and niqabs in schools and other public places asap.
A statement from the internal affairs ministry said; In a free country like the Netherlands. everyone has the right to dress how they choose, no matter what others think. That freedom is only limited in situations when it is essential for people to look at each other.
The Dutch premier in his words said; ''it had nothing to do with religion'' But Mr. Geert Wilder, a politician whose anti-Islamic policies have attracted voters and tend to swing the country towards his views, branded it weak and not far enough to meeting the demands of the people. Offenders will be liable to a 405 Euros fine as approved by the Dutch House of Assembly
