Investments In Romance, Top On The Chart Of British Economy Boosting Index

Brits are said to be on top of other European countries when it comes to spending money on dates and in search of love. An average Brit spends about £120 to woo his desired love and it's said to be partly fueling the British economy by more than £4 billion annually.

German economy is being edged up by £39 spent by an average German on a date, Italy £43 and France £31. These figures did not include what people spend looking good to impress their dates, such as new cloths, cosmetics and gift. Drinks, dinner and entertainment was up by £203 million from last year's figures

The research conducted by the dating website match.com in conjunction with the UK center for economic research concluded by saying '' it's great to see people continue to invest in romance.''
