A pedophile raped his two step-daughters and deliberately infected them with HIV. The girls were aged 11 and 14 when they contracted the potentially deadly virus. The stepdad, 60, had originally denied the accusations but has since developed full-blown AIDS. He pleaded to guilty to a string of sex offences on the second day of his trial at Canterbury Crown Court this week and was told to expect an indeterminate sentence.
The CPS chose not to prosecute him for passing on HIV as it comes under the lesser crime of GBH and instead confessed to crimes ranging from rape of a child under 13 to sexual assault and attempted rape. One of the girls, now 22, told Gemma Aldridge at the Sunday Mirror, she only found out about her condition when she was expecting her boyfriend's baby. She worried her sister, who had been removed from the family home, had suffered the same fate with tests confirming her fears were right.........
