This is the moment a baseball player cradled a dying nine-year-old in his arms after he was fatally hit in the head. Kaiser Carlile, a ball boy, was killed after he was knocked out during a practice swing at a baseball game on Saturday.
Newly-released photographs from the incident show the heart-breaking scenes moments after the accident – and how players rushed to try and save the little boy. Kaiser, who was wearing a helmet when he was hit, can be seen in the images wearing his red, white and blue team outfit for the Liberal Bee Jays.
He died from his injuries in hospital on Sunday evening. A witness said the boy took the full force of the bat on his helmet. ‘The player was swinging, and it hit him [Kaiser] in the helmet, knocking him down,’ he told KSN. May his soul rest in the peace of the Lord, Amen. Metro Uk
