A grim survey has revealed a huge 87 per cent of British women feel their gender counts as a negative factor while trying to climb the career ladder.
87 per cent. We’re pretty sure we speak for everyone when we say this BS has to stop. In case that wasn’t bad enough, data from Stylist Live suggests 17 per cent of women asked believe they’ve lost out on a promotion because of their gender, 11 per cent admitted this happened more than once.
The 2,000 Brit women who participated in the survey also reported a number of other instances of sexism in the work place, here are the most common examples:
