The young man and his Mrs wedded on a sunny ember month day in the year 2000 and having decided that they would like to be together for always as it is in marriage. He was happy and agreed to match him down to the catechist's to sign the paper work that would authorize him marry his daughter like the church and even tradition demands. Thrown into the heat of married life with little or no knowledge of the regular duties and life as a couple.

Marriage dubbed the wedding of the year in and around the area at that time, made headlines in almost all the nation dailies. All of a sudden her ex-boyfriend appeared. I mean came on board. Became even more interested in his ex girlfriend now than he had ever being. And do you know what? Her family now also wants him (her ex boyfriend) more than ever. He became a family friend and was there for them. That's when it all began.

A few years later she sat next to him, no, I mean on his lap at a funeral in the remote village a few miles away from Awaka a suburb in Owerri the Imo State Capital, South East Nigeria. In the same room was her Sister's husband, who later said what he saw was unbelievable. It was at that point he recalled how his Mrs was so kin on serving her ex a well prepared breakfast before asking if he (her husband) would have one.

At this point, he thought ' Aha' you can tell the moment a woman looks at you and serve you meal if she really likes or is interested in you. Just from how she makes sure she gets everything right. He paused and thought, but why did he not marry her b4 now or why did he all of a sudden appear on stage?

Oh, he now re-called there was this gift, a Cheque issued by a company called SEE Ltd, based in Lagos Nigeria. That was the MD/CEO, a wedding gift, ok. ''Now I know he said''. It's all being going on all along at his back. Midnight calls as late as 10:30 to 11pm while they were already asleep.

Their relationship he understood had deepened that he made attempt to have her hands in marriage but his parents did not support the idea on a reason that was so laughable for a man of his age. Her Elder and younger sisters had all married and move to the Libreville in the Republic of  Gabon. People were waiting and looking forward to hearing when her time will be. You know when a woman is nearing forty and still single, alarm bell will start ringing and if expectations are not high, all hope would be lost...........TO BE CONTINUED.
