Almost four years ago, just weeks before her big day, Katy Collins’ boyfriend told her he didn’t want to marry her. So, she booked a one-way ticket out of there. And she hasn’t looked back.

The 30-year-old former PR from Formby quit her job, sold her house, and set off on a solo journey that has so far taken her to Thailand, Nepal, Dubai, India, France, Brazil and Argentina, as well as helping her achieve her dream of becoming a published author.
