British Prime Minister was today overheard while chatting with the Queen, House of Commons Speaker John Bercow and other UK top government officials at an event to mark Her Majesty's 90th birthday, that Nigeria and Afghanistan are ‘possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world’.
According to metro.co.uk, Mr Cameron was caught making the comments as he spoke to Her Majesty at an event to mark her 90th birthday.
In an apparent reference to the anti-corruption conference he is hosting in London later this week, he can be heard telling the Queen: ‘We’ve got the leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming to Britain.’
To dampen the damage the comment could cause, you could hear the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby defending Mr Buhari, saying that this president is not actually corrupt and the Speaker of the House of Commons added, ''I hope they are funding the journey themselves?''
