As Nigerian Economy Continue To Nosedive, Another Set Of 3000 Workers Disengaged As 20 Shipping Companies Shuts Operations Due To Bad Gov. Policies!

As job losses within the Nigerian economy continues, latest report has it that not less than 3000 workers have lost their jobs as 20 shipping companies shut operations in Nigeria over Buhari's unfavorable economic policies.

At a briefing, President-General of the union, Mr. Anthony Emmanuel Nted, among other things, lamented that the jobs of over 2000 workers were also on the line and called on President Buhari to intervene to save the sector from imminent collapse, vanguardngr.com reports.

This is aside from thousands of job that have been lost in the banking, oil sector and within the general import and export sectors of the economy in the last nine months alone. Not mentioning the non payment of worker salaries by various states of the federation.

This represents the exact scenario we had in 1983/84 that led to another forceful change of government in Nigeria in 1985. Could this be a repeat of history?
