Portuguese and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's £15 million private jet was reported to have crash landed while trying to land in Barcelona on Monday late. The plane, a Gulf stream G200 which he acquired last year, is sometimes rented out to private clients or companies. The crash happened at El Prat airport.

The plane's landing gear broke on impact, and a runway at the airport was closed. None of the footballer's friends or family was on-board the aircraft when it crash landed. The pilot was treated for minor injuries.
