US Congressman Condemns Killings Of Biafrans, Calls For Release Of Nnamdi Kanu And Biafra Referendum
A top US Congressman representing CA-48(California’s 48th Congressional District), Dana Rohrabacher, has condemn the killings, subjugation of Biafrans in the British-created Nigeria, calls for release of Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra Referendum.
The former speech writer (1981-1988) to Ronald Reagan, a former American President, also condemned the incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) and the Director of Radio Biafra by the government of President Muhammadu Buhari; noting that the massive infringement on the right of Nnamdi Kanu and that of the generality of Biafrans to self determination is a huge blunder that can only aggravate the already porous ‘stability’ in Nigeria.
“Kanu should be freed. Keeping him in jail undermines stability if people of Biafra (are) denied vote to determine who is their gov,” Rohrabacher, a member of the U.S. Republican party said in series of statements published on his official twitter page during a conversation with a Biafran activist, Chimdiya Chibueze.
