Information available, according to photos shared by Hon Chiemeka Akarandu, the Honourable Member Representing  Owerri Federal Constituency shows members of the  Peoples Democratic Party led by the state executive and Owerri residents today's afternoon flagging-off  "Operation Clean Douglas Road Campaign." You would recall we brought you info here that the Imo State government deliberately abandoned these heaps of smelly refuse in picture within Owerri municipality to get back at Owerri people who are fighting his government over the planned relocation of the Ekeukwu Owerri market.  The heap of decomposing refuse has become an eye-saw and an embarrassment to residents of Owerri, users of Douglas Road Owerri and the entire people of Owerri and Imo people in general. You would wonder why a government that brands itself responsible and people oriented would do this to it's people and those who elected him to correct the wrongs of the past {Ikedi Ohakim administration}.
