It is totally unbelievable that a grandmother could do this to her own grandchild? How could you claim you had wanted to stop your grandson from sucking his fingers by burning the thumb? The granny identified as Aunt Owusuah, who is a Ghanaian is said to have accused the boy of cultivating an unhealthy habit of sucking his fingers which resulted in burn bruises.
Speaking to My News Gh, a neighbor who heard the poor boy crying confirmed the incident saying: 'His mother and father had all left for farm and left him in the care of the granny who burnt the boy’s fingers. We reported the matter to the Enchi police who are currently investigating the matter.' He added.
However, the father of the victim, Kofi Ghana said he wasn't surprised about the conduct of his mother in-law who had initially stated her dislike for him prior to marrying her daughter.
Anyway, the little boy is even lucky, because some of the said African granmas, do worse things to their grandchildren than this. With Ghana Web
