OMG! Photos As Nigerian Government Rented Poor & Hungry Citizens To Protest Against Amnesty International!
The Nigerian government has been accused of renting protesters to protest against Amnesty International in Abuja. This according to the report is because of the role the global human right organisation plays in documentation and reporting human right abuses committed by the Nigerian security forces.
The protest came after Amnesty International released a journal on the extrajudicial killing of over 150 pro-Biafran activists by Nigerian security forces between October 2015 and December 2016 alone
Thousands of protesters under the banner, Global Peace and Rescue Initiative (GOPRI) on Monday barricaded the Abuja office of the Amnesty International (AI) demanding the international organisation to vacate the country within the next 24 hours.
This is very shameful coming from a government that postures itself as an anti-corruption commander and an apostle of change.
