Buhari Now More Like A Part-time President’ - Gov Ayo Fayose.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has continued his bashing of President Muhammadu Buhari and his government. On this occasion, the outspoken governor said President Buhari has become a “Friday president” and acting more like a ceremonial and part-time President.

The State Governor, said he was happy that his critique was getting to the president and his staffs, he noted that its not sufficient for the President to be seen only by the Nigerians at a Friday Jumat public service at the Presidential Villa, videos of his actions should be made public too according to the State Governor.

“That’s why Nigerians are told every day that the President said this and that with the President neither speaking directly nor attending any official function. This is not good for the image of a country like Nigeria that is struggling to get out of economic recession,” the governor stated.

State Governor Fayose said that in honor of his old age, the President should be prone to sickness, advising President Buhari to watch carefully on his health and if any sickness happens the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, will temporarily act as a President for the meantime.

“However, it is doubtful if those cabals that are obviously running their own Presidency within President Buhari’s Presidency will allow him to take a long vacation, probably outside Nigeria to take care of himself.”

Governor Fayose demanded that Nigerians must listen to the voice of their president and check if he can still do his job properly, not through his representatives or the faction operating behind the scenes.

“It is only when the President is seen and heard physically that Nigerians will believe that they are not being ruled by a part-time and ceremonial president, whose powers are being exercised on his behalf by some cabal,” the State Governor said.
