President Trump's Former Aide Omarosa Accuses The White House Of Deceiving Americans On President Trump's Mental Capacity To Lead The Nation!
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman called herself “complicit” in lying to the American people about President Trump’s capacity to serve as commander-in-chief as she continued to take swipes at her former boss, nypost.com reports.
“I was complicit with this White House deceiving this nation,” she said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”“They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined he is, how difficult it is for him to process complex information. How he has not engaged in some of the most important decisions that impact our country.”
“I was complicit and for that I regret,” the former “Apprentice” contestant added.
Manigault Newman sat down with anchor Chuck Todd and confirmed that she had heard Trump on tape using the N-word.
“I have heard the tape,” she said, explaining that three different sources she talked to for her new book “Unhinged” had detailed to her the same story about Trump, using the racial slur during the filming of “The Apprentice.”
Manigault Newman said she originally heard about the recording in the fall of 2016 when Trump was running for the White House.
The former reality star says she was on a conference call with Katrina Pierson and Jason Miller, both spokespeople for the Trump campaign, as well as Lynne Patton, a Trump Organization employee, who was also a prominent African-American supporter of the GOP candidate.
“In fact Katrina Pierson, the spokeswoman for the campaign said ‘Oh, he said it, it’s true,’” Manigault Newman said. When Todd suggested Pierson wouldn’t back up that claim, Manigault Newman added, “Is she denying? She knows I have receipts.”
Manigault Newman explained that she didn’t hear the recording until after her book was published, adding she suspected it may be used as an “October surprise” against Trump and Republicans in advance of this November’s midterm elections.
“I have heard for two years that it existed and once I heard it for myself it confirmed what I feared the most: that Donald Trump is a con and has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities,” she said. “But when he talks that way, the way he did on this tape, it confirms that he is truly a racist.”
Manigault Newman confirmed, however, that Trump never said the n-word in her presence, though she said it was possible he used the racial slur to describe her.
“Because Donald Trump talks about everyone behind their backs. You leave the room, Chuck, and he probably has a nickname for you,” she said. “There’s a nickname for everyone in his administration and his circles.”
She also brought to the “Meet the Press” set the tape of White House Chief of Staff John Kelly telling her she was fired.
Manigault Newman said she taped the meeting, which was held in the Situation Room because she was trying to “protect” herself. “That’s not disloyalty,” she stated.
“If I did not have this recording, people would still believe the false story that I was running around the White House. The false story … that I tried to charge the residents of the White House, and it’s a lie,” she said. “If I didn’t have this recording, listen, people would still think trying to set off alarms.”
On the tape, Kelly is heard talking to Manigault Newman about her job performance.
“You can look at your time here at the White House as a year of service to the nation and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation,” Kelly says.
Manigault Newman asks the chief of staff if the president was aware of what’s going on. “So if this is my departure, I’d like to have at least an opportunity to understand,” she says, to which Kelly says, “We can talk another time.”
Kelly tells Manigault Newman that she’s getting the ax over “serious integrity violations.” She told Todd she would love for the White House to release her whole employee file. “Let’s bring it all to light,” she said.
Manigault Newman said she declined to take a job with Trump re-election campaign after leaving the White House because she was being asked to sign a pretty significant non-disclosure agreement.
The former aide speculated that other ex-employees had signed on the dotted line “which is why Sean Spicer was describing Donald Trump as a unicorn jumping over rainbows,” she alleged.
“As you’ll see in’ Unhinged’ I protected myself because this is a White House where everybody lies,” she said. “The president lies to the American people.
[White House Press Secretary] Sarah Huckabee stands in front of the country and lies every single day, you have to have your own back because otherwise you’ll look back and you’ll see 17 knives in your back.” Culled from nypost.com.
