Akinwunmi Ambode, the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate for Lagos state may soon be arrested by the Nigerian Police Force.
According to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, Ambode will be arrested on grounds of alleged criminal conduct following a petition alleging perjury against the APC candidate.
A petition authored by Lagos APC Integrity Group accused Ambode of lying under oath by claiming in his Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination form in 1981 that he was from Ilaje in Ondo State, only to claim in his APC nomination form, on oath again, to be from Epe in Lagos State, during the governorship primary contest.
